Webserver 2 PHP configuration issues Monday 29th July 2019 08:21:33

We are receiving messages from customers that they experience issues with PHP on web02. We are investigating the issue.

web02 has successfully been restored to a new webserver, web03. No changes were made in the IP address, but the hostname has been changed to web03.ntwrk.eu. web02.ntwrk.eu will continu to resolve to web03.ntwrk.eu, so customers don't need to make any changes to - for example - DNS and email settings.

The backups of last night were used (taken between 1AM and 4AM), so there may be some small data loss. Effected customers will receive an e-mail in the coming hours with more details regarding the downtime.

Backups are restored. We are making last changes to the environment to get everything back up-and-running. Next update at 19:15.

Unfortunately, the restore of the backup did not make it in time. Some new calculations indicates an completion around 19:00. Next update at 18:45.

Backups are still recovering as planned. The estimation of 18:00 is still accurate as of our current information.

Still going strong. We expect that everything should be back functioning around 18:00. We will give another update at 17:00, with a new estimation.

Backup restore is started. If this is not finished at 16:00, we will try to provide an estimation of when the restore is completed.

After the backup is restored, we will reconnect the webserver with the Internet, so e-mails start coming in again and visitors will be able to visit the websites again.

Installation of web03 is proceeding well. We are finishing this up and then starting to recover.

We unfortunately discovered some unwanted activity on web02. We are currently setting up a replacement for web02, named web03, and restoring tonight's backups on web03. After services has been resumed, we will investigate web02 further.
